Tarte au Chocolate

Our first venture into shortcrust pastry is this French classic

 

For the pastry.

150g Plain flour

100g butter

50g caste sugar

 

For the filling

150g butter

200g dark chocolate

3 eggs

30g caster sugar

100ml double cream

 

I will provide

Vanilla paste

 

OPTIONAL

Hazlenuts (chopped roughly before bringing them in, it will give it a nuttella taste)

1 orange to zest ( its not terry's it yours)
